AFC Fylde’s Sheldon Green has been recalled from his loan at Bamber Bridge.

Green, 18, has been in good form at Bamber Bridge, netting on two occasions – including a late winner against Buxton.

With Tom Walker cup-tied, Manager Jim Bentley has moved to recall Green ahead of this weekend’s clash with Dorking Wanderers in the FA Trophy.

“We’re a little bit light, and looking at bringing a couple in to strnegthen us,” said Jim Bentley.

“With a couple of injuries and a bit of illness the decision was taken to bring back Sheldon – who’s been doing well at Bamber Bridge.”
