The AFC Fylde Community Foundation prides itself on providing equal opportunity for each member of the local community. Therefore, we have partnered with FreeKicks Foundation to allow children to receive a free match-day experience to be mascot for an AFC Fylde match. This is done to give an opportunity to the children who may struggle to accommodate the experience themselves. The AFC Fylde Community Foundation would like to thank Steve and Sam of FreeKicks Foundation for their support.

The mascot opportunities consists of running a wide range of activities prior to kick off, donating full replica kits to the children and handing complimentary tickets to families, who would otherwise not have been able to afford to watch the game.

AFC Fylde Community Foundation Director Thomas Hutton is delighted to be giving an opportunity to members of the local community and hopes the children who will participate enjoy the experience of being a mascot. “It’s a great opportunity for the children to get a good feel for how things are operated on match day at Kellamergh Park. They have the distinctive pleasure of walking out on the pitch with the players and engage in football activities on the pitch at half-time. It really is a wonderful experience for the children.”

If you would like to nominate a young boy/girl to take part in this programme please send a short outline detailing the reasons why this young person should be selected to take part in this initiative to tomhutton@afcfylde.co.uk at any point during the football season.
