If you tick all those boxes, you will fly as Sid the Seagull! As Sid, you will engage with young supporters every home matchday, bringing a bundle of energy to the role. We want you to leave a lasting impression on our next generation of Coasters, so if this sounds like you, please get in touch!
Matchday Duties
- To ensure supporters of all ages are entertained both pre-match and at half-time.
- Entertain all members of our Coasters Club
- To represent AFC Fylde to the highest standard
- Have the ability to engage all supporters
- Liaise with AFC Fylde Community Trust staff on duties that may need carrying out on a matchday
- Be available to work all home matchdays, both Saturdays and Tuesdays
- Interact with children and young people with differing abilities respectfully and appropriately
- To perform all duties both safely and responsibly, and to not undertake any duties that would damage the reputation of Sid the Seagull, and AFC Fylde
The Successful Candidate Will Have/Be:
- Experience of working with and managing large groups of children.
- Confident in engaging with supporters of all ages and backgrounds positively and proactively whilst wearing a costume.
- Confidence in performing to a public audience.
- Reliable and committed/able to work all home fixtures.
- Ability to work unsupervised, using your own initiative
- A full DBS Check
