The stars of AFC Fylde delighted hoards of young fans at a special Christmas Signing Session.

The Coasters squad signed autographs and had photos with supporters in the brand new club shop at Mill Farm ahead of the crucial match against Chorley on Boxing Day.

AFC Fylde Chief Executive Neil Joy said: “It is important that we hold these events. We have a superb new shop and as a community club we feel the players should interact with the supporters.

“The event went very well, it was enjoyable and I’d like to thank everybody that took the time to come down, including the manager and players, at this busy time.”

Commercial Manager David Broadbent added: “We are very happy with the event, there was a great turnout from supporters who were impressed with the new shop.

“From a commercial point of view it was a success with people coming in to purchase their Chorley tickets along with club merchandise, but in terms of the bigger picture it showcased the new shop and ticket office and allowed a good number of junior supporters to meet the players and enjoy a mince pie!

“We look forward to putting on more events like this over the coming months.”
