AFC Fylde v Boston United

Saturday 19th November, 2016, k/o 3pm

Mill Farm

Vanarama National League North

AFC Fylde welcome Boston United to Mill Farm on Saturday afternoon as the hosts look to extend their lead at the top of the table.

The Coasters maintained their four point cushion at the top with an away draw at Darlington last time out.

Danny Rowe opened the scoring in the North East with his 24th goal of an incredible season, before Darlington’s Josh Gillies levelled the scores.

The Coasters will remain top of the pile whatever happens and will look to make home advantage count, particularly with Darlington facing an away trip to AFC Telford United.

Chorley sit in third position in the standings, level on points with Darlington, but have played a game more.

Visiting side Boston United have endured a difficult start to the season and currently find themselves in 14th position. The Pilgrims will have hoped to build on last season’s play-off finish, however they have managed just five victories from their 18 league matches to date.

Dennis Greene’s side have won just once in the last six league fixtures – a 2-1 victory away at Telford earlier in the month.

Dave Challinor’s side enjoyed two resounding victories over Boston last campaign, first cruising to a comfortable 3-0 away victory before putting in a stunning display in a 5-2 victory at Kellamergh Park.
