AFC Fylde is delighted to announce that Siya Ligendza has signed a new deal at Mill Farm, subject to FA approval.

The striker, who recently picked up the Supporter’s November Player of the Month award, has put pen to paper on a deal that sees him commit his future to the Coasters.

Born in Leicester, Ligendza signed for the Fylde in September following a successful trial period and has made 15 appearances for the Coasters, netting six goals and playing a vital part since the arrival of Adam Murray.

After signing on the dotted line, Ligendza said: “It’s been a long time coming, and I’m happy to get the deal over the line.

“I’ve enjoyed my time at the Club so far, and I just want to continue doing that by scoring more goals, helping the team out, and hopefully going on to win the league.”

Director of Football Chris Beech also signalled his delight at the deal and added: “We’re pleased to have Siya extend his stay at AFC Fylde, and our thanks must go to the Chairman for his backing throughout the process.

“Following my first week at the Club, I’m happy to have played a part in helping get this deal over the line. Siya is a bright, young talent with his best years ahead of him, and with the support of his family and everyone at AFC Fylde, we’re excited to see his development over the next few years.”
