Building on a hugely successful 12 months, the Foundation continues to push forward and grow the team ensuring more programmes can be delivered to a diverse section of the local community.

The latest addition to the enthusiastic team is Charlie Hay who has joined the Foundation as Extended Services Officer and will take over a number of dedicated responsibilities within the organisation.

Charlie’s role at AFC Fylde will see him taking full control of the development and delivery of the already well-established and respected ‘Positive Pathways’ programme.

Positive Pathways is a programme in which the Foundation work closely alongside the Community Rehabilitation Company with the aim of supporting ex-offenders through a wrap-around care service, providing the best opportunities to successfully reintegrate them into society.

Alongside Positive Pathways, Charlie will work with the Foundation running the new ‘Quality Assurance’ programme within schools. This highly-valued project ensures that all of the Foundation’s delivery throughout schools and nurseries across the Fylde Coast is of the very highest standard and does not leave any boxes unticked.

Foundation Director Tom Hutton is pleased to welcome Charlie to his ever- growing team. He said: “I am delighted with Charlie’s appointment. After a very successful 2016, it is important that the Foundation continues to grow and strengthen the work we deliver across the local community.

“In joining the team, Charlie will play a crucial part in helping us to do this. 2017 is going to be a very important year for the Foundation. By constantly looking at what we offer and how we deliver our programmes and growing the team, we will ensure we push forward to even greater heights.”
