AFC Fylde boss Dave Challinor insists that talk of the FA Cup has been put on hold until after tomorrow’s National League North clash with Stalybridge Celtic (kick-off 3pm).

The huge cup tie against Millwall lies ahead for the Coasters next weekend, but Challinor is keen for his table-toppers to focus on the job in hand with no distractions.

“We have spoken for the last few weeks that when league games come around that they are the priority,” said Challinor.

“Our only focus at this moment is tomorrow’s match. Once that is out the way we can look forward to Millwall next weekend, but not a minute before.

“We have had a full week to recover and prepare, whilst Stalybridge took their FA Cup tie to extra-time in midweek, but we are still expecting a very tough game.

“They are big, physical side, they will be direct and we will have to deal with set-pieces. We go in to the game full of confidence as we are on a good run and we must make sure we continue that.

“We have been doing well, but if you don’t turn up on any given game there’s a chance of getting beat, especially in this league. Teams are organised, they work hard and they will try and stop us playing our game. But we know that we are a match for anyone in this division.

“Josh Langley has done a week of training and he could well take part in the warm-up tomorrow. There’s also a chance he could be involved in the cup game next weekend.

“Brad Barnes is another that is close to full fitness, so hopefully our injury problems have cleared up.

“All of a sudden now, we have gone from struggling to fill the bench to leaving people out.”

Ticket prices for tomorrow’s match are £12 adults, £9 concessions and £5 under-16s. Members tickets are priced at £10 adults, £7 concessions and FREE for under-16s.
