Mill Farm hosted the busiest weekend in the club’s history a week ago with the visit of Halifax Town and Brett Ormerod’s Testimonial drawing in close on 6,000 supporters.

However, whilst the stadium is up and running, we haven’t finished just yet and is work is still ongoing behind the scenes.

Over the last ten days the Boardroom has been completed ready for our own officials and visiting directors to enjoy the match in style.

The feature wall was decorated and all the furniture, including a stunning Versace display cabinet, was delivered all ready for the huge weekend just gone.

Much of the focus has now gone into getting Milano’s Mediterranean Restaurant open for business and work is coming along nicely.

The state-of-the-art kitchen has been fitted and now awaits commissioning, whilst the huge pizza oven has been installed.

The corrugated metal bar front and the granite surfaces have been ordered and will be fitted next week. The framing for the seating booths is complete and the timber ceiling above the seating area has been fixed.

The tiling is complete is the toilets serving Milano’s and the vanity units in the ladies are currently being fitted.

The floor tiling to the balcony of the restaurant has also been finished today.

Across the lobby, we have taken delivery of a flash portable dancefloor which was given a whirl for the first time after Sunday’s testimonial match.
