One week to go! It has been action stations at Mill Farm this week as we gear up for the first match next Saturday.

Much work has been concentrated on Churchill’s function suite this week and as you can tell from the photos below it is coming along nicely.

The carpet was fitted a few days ago but is currently covered by protective sheeting as the room is decorated. All the multi-coloured LED lighting on the ceiling and the bar front has been installed and the final fit of the bar itself is expected to be complete this weekend.

The kitchens serving Churchill’s have also now been installed, whilst the cubicles have gone into the toilets.

Decorating is continuing throughout the first floor and wallpaper is being applied through the executive corridor.

Moving down onto the ground floor, the glass to the spiral staircase has been fitted and the officials changing rooms are getting the finishing touches done this weekend.

As you walk out of the players tunnel you can see that the pitch marking has begun and the goalposts have arrived.

We were paid an visit by inspectors on Thursday morning and we are delighted to announce that we were passed for a fire safety certificate and everything is on course for next weekend!

Away from the stadium, work on the 3G pitches is continuing and is expected to be complete later this year.
