Congratulations to Kenzie Hulme who was voted Young Fan of the Year for 2020 by his fellow Coasters supporters.

Kenzie was the Club’s matchday mascot at our FA Cup third round tie at Sheffield United last season and has been an avid supporter of his beloved Coasters for several years.

Like many, Kenzie had a challenging 2020 and has missed his routinely visits to Mill Farm to cheer on his team.

Jim Bentley wanted to leave some words for Kenzie and thank him for his support.  The Coasters boss said: “I’d like to congratulate young Kenzie, who has backed us through thick and thin, along with the rest of the AFC Fylde fans.

“To be voted as Young Fan of the Year by his friends, family and fellow supporters tells you everything you need to know about Kenzie. By all accounts, he has had a bit of a tough year last year, but has remained strong and his bubbly, funny self.

“We have missed having Kenzie, and the rest of the supporters spurring us on from the stands on match days. It is a completely different experience without you there in person, but I think that it has made us all appreciate you even more.

“We’re working extremely hard behind-the-scenes to pick up results and keep the club moving forward despite the challenges.

“I’d like to send a huge thank you from myself , the rest of the staff and players, to Kenzie and to all of you who have stuck by us. Whether it has been through social media or tuning into Coasters TV from afar, your unwavering support is appreciated by all”
