Our new Promotions Manager, Lucy Briggs, sits down with the media team to discuss her role, what the FSL programme is and how you can get involved…

What do you do day-to-day?

On a day-to-day basis I work with existing members of the Fylde Sport Lottery and look to recruit new members through the new programmes on offer for Businesses, Sports Clubs and Schools, as well as individuals. I have a great team of collectors who collect money from the weekly players around the Fylde Coast, If you are interested in joining please contact me as it can be arranged for a collector to visit you. On match days I sell the Programmes so I will be a familiar face for some of you.

What is the FSL and why should you sign up?

It’s the Fylde Sport Lottery abbreviated to FSL for short. A recognised Lottery organisation with a lottery commission number of SL0165.

This weekly draw helps us to support the local community, with 40% of the Lottery profits going towards good causes within the local area, and even better, you can help decide where the money goes. Platinum members and above will be invited on to the brand new Lottery committee.

The added bonus is that you have the chance of winning our Jackpot prize of a minimum of £1000, with a rolling £150 added to the jackpot until it is won. We also have two minor prizes starting from £100. You can play for just £1 a week so there really is no reason why our latest winner can’t be you.

Our new Monthly prize draw includes signed merchandise, a meal in Milano’s, 7-a-side pitch hire at our state-of-the art FSEC facility, match tickets for AFC Fylde home fixtures, a hospitality experience, vouchers for our club shop and many more exciting prizes!

The lottery was formed with the local community at the forefront of our minds, with FSL Gold actively supporting a wide range of community projects up and down the Fylde Coast. There are many great programmes on offer for Schools, Sports Clubs and Businesses.

How does it work?

As a member of FSL Gold you will be randomly allocated four numbers for every £1 entry. Every Friday, the draw will be based on the Euro Millions Lottery and the lowest four denomination numbers of the draw, with the first digit of each of these four balls removed.

For example, if the first four balls in ascending order drawn are, 04, 12, 23, 31, by removing each of the first digits the draw numbers would be 4231. If all four digits of your numbers match these four digits, in the same order, then you will be our Jackpot Prize Winner.

Euromillions lowest four numbers: 04, 12, 23, 31

Your number: 4231

What are your plans moving forward?

I hope to get on board many new members for the lottery through new individual sign ups as well as schools, Sports clubs and Local businesses on board. There are many fantastic benefits to joining one of the programmes as well as the chance to win Jackpot prices and weekly prices.
