Local charity, Veterans For Fylde, will be visiting Kellamergh Park on Boxing Day for AFC Fylde’s crunch game against Barrow AFC, to raise money for the worthy cause they support.

Veterans For Fylde is dedicated to organise volunteer work on behalf of those who have served in the Armed Forces and their families. Veterans For Fylde offer assistance where it is most needed. Many former serving men and women have problems in dealing with everyday issues often stemming from their service. These can include housing, transition to civilian life, homelessness, education, coping with life, finance, employment or just feeling lost once out of the military structure.

Volunteers from Veterans For Fylde will be around Kellamergh Park prior to kick-off to collect any donations you may be able to give. Please give generously any money you can provide.

AFC Fylde Community Foundation Director, Tom Hutton said, “It’s an honour to be working with such a great organisation like Veterans For Fylde, who have served our great country so passionately and proudly, I urge everyone to give as much as they possibly can. God save the Queen.”
