Sean Newton – The ever reliable left back has been with the club since late 2016 and has made over 150 appearances for the club. His contributions last season were rewarded as he was one of only 3 senior players retained by the club following the end of the 19-20 season.


Steve Watson – The former Newcastle United and Aston Villa defender took the reigns in January 2019 and has become a popular figure amongst York fans, taking the club from a mid table finish in 18-19 to second on points per game last season. He had previously managed fellow National League North side, Gateshead.
