The AFC Fylde Community Foundation are delighted to announce that Ryan Vaughan has landed an exciting role delivering a new national Futsal programme for the Foundation.

Working in partnership with VLUK, the Foundation have secured the opportunity to launch the highly regarded programme and Ryan has been named as the official Futsal Programme Lead.

Ryan, who currently works within the Foundation as Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS) Manager supporting nurseries across the Fylde Coast, is understandably delighted at the promotion.

He said: “I’m honoured to be put in charge of such an exciting new national programme. Futsal is a great sport and incredibly enjoyable to play. But what is even better is that participants work towards getting additional qualifications at the same time, which obviously represents a fantastic opportunity for them. I am really eager to get the programme up and running at the Foundation and I’m confident it will be a huge success.”

The two year, full-time course incorporates either a BTEC Level 3 qualification in Business Studies or a National Extended Diploma in Sport. During the course, participants time is divided between education and taking part in physical Futsal sessions.

AFC Fylde are the latest team to be welcomed into the national Futsal programme.

All classes and lessons will take place within the new state-of-the-art education centre and the 3G pitches based at Mill Farm Sports Village. The programme will launch in September 2017 so keep your eyes peeled for more exciting developments.
