AFC Fylde travel to Tamworth this Saturday as they look to continue their phenominal unbeaten run in the National League North.

After last weekend’s crucial victory over Harrogate Town, the Coasters are now undefeated in all 15 league games this season.

Dave Challinor’s side head into the weekend’s action four points clear at the top of the table on 37 points, with Darlington 1883 in second, followed by Halifax Town, Chorley and Kidderminster Harriers.

Striker Danny Rowe still leads the goalcharts across the top six tiers of English football, however it was midfield duo Sam Finley and James Hardy that dealt the damage against Harrogate last time out.

Despite trailing at half-time, Fylde produced a rousing second-half display and came away with a fantastic 2-1 victory against one of their promotion rivals.

Saturday’s opponents Tamworth sit slap-bang in the middle of the table in 11th position after winning half of their 14 games so far. 

Despite their indifferent form of late, the Lambs pulled off an impressive victory away at Salford City at the weekend, Ross Dyer scoring twice in a 2-1 win.

The Coasters took just one point off Tamworth last year after a 2-2 draw at Kellamergh Park and a disappointing 3-1 defeat at the Lamb Ground.

Team news:
Winger Brendon Daniels completed 90 minutes for the development squad on Tuesday night and is likely to be involved, whilst Challinor is waiting on the fitness of defender Steve Williams.
