Vanarama National League North

AFC Fylde take on their second away game in four days when they travel to Stockport County tomorrow evening.

Saturday’s 3-2 victory over FC United of Manchester saw the Coasters cement their place at the top of the table and they now hold a three point lead over second placed Salford City after ten games.

However the victory came at a cost as Sam Finley, who was shown a straight red card for kicking a water bottle into the crowd at Broadhurst Park, will serve a three-match suspension.

Striker Danny Rowe continued his frightening run of form in front of goal with another brace against FC United, taking his tally to an incredible 16 goals for the season.

Midfielder Bohan Dixon is also enjoying a purple patch – his strike at Broadhurst Park was his fifth of the campaign.

Stockport have struggled for goals so far this term and have scored exactly half as many as the Coasters (16/32).

The 11th-placed Hatters are in a decent run of form with two wins, two draws and just one defeat from their last five games. Former Fylde winger Danny Lloyd netted in a 1-1 draw against Boston United last time out.

The Coasters ran out 4-0 winners at Edgeley Park last season to avenge the 3-2 defeat at Kellamergh Park in the reverse fixture.

Team news:
Both goalkeeper Rhys Taylor and winger Brendon Daniels are making good progress and could feature within two weeks. Midfielder Sam Finley is available for selection as his three-match suspension hasn’t yet kicked in.
