An international break isn’t always the order of the day in non-league.

However, the Coasters have been without a game for over ten days, due to international call-ups for Barnet postponing last weekend’s match.

A week off where Fylde could spend “valuable hours on the training pitch”, and now a game in hand, will give Dave Challinor every hope his side can kick on.

For the trip down to Somerset, Challinor will have a very strong side with Lewis Montrose the only one looking likely to miss out through injury.

Dan Bradley has returned to full training, and puts himself back in contention for a start.

The Opposition

Name: Yeovil Town

Form: LLWWW

Nickname: The Glovers

Ground: Huish Park

League Position: 6th

Yeovil are one of the National League’s new boys and since coming down from the Football League, the side from Somerset have shown no relegation hangover whatsoever as they sit in the playoff places after 10 games.

Part of their good early season form could be down to new manager, Darren Sarll. The former Stevenage manager took over in the summer following The Glovers’ relegation.

With fresh ideas coming into the club from Sarll and good early season form, Yeovil will be hoping it can carry on long into the season and see them bounce back to the EFL at the first time of asking.

One To Watch

Courtney Duffus

This week’s one to watch is forward Courtney Duffus.

Duffus signed for Yeovil Town in January and at first, The Glovers fans hadn’t seen him start life too well.

But after a settling in period and a new manager coming to the club, Duffus has hit the ground running this term, scoring four goals in nine appearances.

Before making the move to Yeovil, Duffus had spells at Waterford in the Irish league, Oldham in the Football League and the recently expelled Bury FC.

He made an early name for himself at Everton whilst in the ranks of the academy, where he was deemed a hot prospect by The Toffees.

That potential is now coming through at Yeovil, and Duffus is someone The Coasters will have to keep an eye on this weekend.

Last Time Out

Halifax Town 0 – 2 Yeovil Town

A goal either side of half time from forward Gold Omotayo was enough for the Glovers to record an impressive win at the Shay, against a Halifax team who have impressed so far this campaign.
