Jim Bentley earned his first league win on Saturday when Dagenham & Redbridge visited Mill Farm.

The side looked like the Coasters of old with their attacking play on Saturday, with Mark Yeates, Jordan Williams and Danny Rowe getting on the scoresheet.

Tuesday night sees us on the road, where will travel to the racecourse ground to face strugglers, Wrexham.

The Opposition

Name: Wrexham

Nickname: The Red Dragons

Ground: Racecourse Ground

League Position: 21st

This will be the second meeting of the season between Fylde and Wrexham, where last time out the Coasters ran out 3-2 winners at Mill Farm.

That defeat meant that Bryan Hughes was relieved from his duties at the Racecourse ground.

Since then, Dean Keates has been appointed as the Red Dragons’ manager, but results haven’t improved for the side since his arrival, which sees them sit in the relegation zone.

Wrexham have only won one from their last eight – with that win coming against second placed Bromley at home.

One To Watch

Luke Young

This week’s one to watch is midfielder, Luke Young.

Young has played in 25 of Wrexham’s games this season, making him an ever present for the side.

Although he is a midfielder, Young likes to chip in with the odd goal here and there – the latest coming in that crucial win against Bromley.

The two sides have met numerous times over the years – with this game being the 7th meeting.
