Sheffield-born, Gordon joined the Blades as a teenager and graduated from their academy in 2021 before making a brief loan move to Boston United. 

The 21-year-old’s loan was cut short at the Jakeman’s Community Stadium, all for good reason, with Paul Heckingbottom recalling and throwing him straight into FA Cup Third Round Action against Wolves.

A regular name in Heckingbottom’s matchday squads at Bramall Lane, Kyron spent a month on loan at Boreham Wood last season before returning to his hometown club in the New Year, a place where he made 10 first-team appearances overall.
