Over the next couple of weeks, we will be speaking to the unsung heroes behind the scenes at AFC Fylde to find out their highlights of the season, both on and off the pitch.

My moment of the season was…

Sat in the away end at the DW Stadium, looking up at the clock at 78 minutes and seeing that we were just over ten minutes from beating Wigan Athletic on their own turf.

I had travelled to the game with my missus and watched on with our supporters as we heroically went 2-1 up against all odds.

Of course, Will Grigg’s introduction cut short our FA Cup dream, but to go so close against the League One champions was something to be very proud of.

My proudest moment was…

Overseeing two of the biggest attendances in the club’s history.

We had 3,351 on for the Wigan game and 3,065 a few weeks later against Tranmere Rovers – almost 7,000 fans over both games with a great atmosphere and no trouble from either set of fans.

Another proud moment was breaking 1,000 season ticket holders – over double the previous season’s total.

I’m looking forward to…

April 20th, 2019, when we are confirmed as champions! In all honesty, I expect us to give it a real good go next season and be right up there.
