We are delighted to announce that our beautiful new Mediterranean restaurant Milano’s is now officially open.
Months of tireless work and attention to detail have gone into the creation of this stunning new venue and our first visitors certainly enjoyed the VIP treatment.
Over Wednesday and Thursday, Milano’s hosted its soft opening and a VIP evening and today opened its doors to the public for the first time.
Mill Farm Food & Beverage Manager Bevan Middleton admits he has been humbled by the response: “I’m delighted with the finished product. We had a few minor teething problems as you would expect but they were ironed out straight away.
“We have received fantastic feedback from all guests. When we opened the doors for the very first time the response was breathtaking. There was a real ‘wow factor’ and that’s what we have been looking for.
“We have created a modern, contemporary dining experience in beautiful surroundings. Fantastic food with friendly and professional service.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone to Milano’s to share the passion we have for this truly fabulous restaurant.”

The venue is just stunning in beautiful surroundings. Exquisite décor and lighting and the floor is beautiful.
The cutlery is pristine and the crockery is lovely, as was the wooden board the main course was served on. The glasses were crystal clear and had obviously been polished with a nice design too.
Starter – Mozzarella with Rocket and Pancheta. Really tasty and brilliantly presented
Main – Filet Steak with fries and peppercorn sauce. Fillet cooked perfectly medium well. Very tasty and succulent. Fries were also perfect and very tasty. The peppercorn sauce was probably the nicest I have ever had. Beautiful.
Dessert – Vanilla Ice Cream & raspberry coulis. Beautifully presented and wonderful flavour.
Overall it was fantastic. The food was great, the venue is beautiful and the staff were happy, helpful and efficient. My daughter also sends her complements and she’s virtually impossible to please!
