Following the announcement of the 2016-17 Vanarama National League North fixtures this week, Mill Farm is all systems go for the new season.

Noticeably today the seats, spelling out our proud name, are being fitted by stadium seating company ‘Bluecube’ and will be finished over the weekend.

The grass has been cut and fed this week and is looking fantastic.

Inside the main stand, the changing rooms – modelled on Manchester City’s training ground – are all but complete whilst the plunge baths have been plumbed in to the shower area.

The base coat of paint has applied throughout the building and the impressive marble tiling in the entrance to the West Stand is 90 per cent complete.

The turnstiles have been installed and are ready to be commissioned whilst the first fix of plumbing has been done in the concourse toilets.

The feature ceiling in Churchill’s function suite is 90 per cent finished and decorations will begin on Monday, including the walnut door casings on the first floor.

On the technical side, the second fix of electrical work has gone throughout the building and the extractor hoods in Churchill’s kitchen will be installed on Monday, shortly followed by Milano’s restaurant.
