The Coasters look to carry on their impressive form, which has seen them go top of the Vanarama Conference North, this Saturday when they face Worcester City at Kellamergh Park.
It’s been an impressive September so far for AFC Fylde as they’ve played three and won all three games, scoring 12 goals in the process.
Not only are The Coasters top of the league table, they top the scoring charts, have conceded the fewest goals and have the largest positive goal difference. It really has been a dream start, although Worcester City will be looking to spoil the Coasters party when they travel up north this Saturday.
Worcester’s form has been mixed but recently they’ve improved their results after winning three of the last five games against Lowestoft, Chorley and North Ferriby. Last time out however, they suffered defeat at the hands of Stockport County. They currently sit in 11th position in the league table.
Whilst The Coasters have Richie Allen (4),Michael Potts (4), and Danny Rowe (4) leading the AFC Fylde goal scoring chart, Worcester have Daniel Nti (3), Nick Wright (2) and Shaun Geddes (2). Worcester are one of the lowest scoring teams in the division with nine goals but they’ve also only conceded nine goals so far, so it’s likely to be a tight affair on Saturday when they face up against The Coasters.
Admission for this game is £10 for adults, £7 concessions and completely FREE for Under 16’s & Armed Forces Personnel.
The match kicks off at 15:00 at Kellamergh Park so make sure you come down to support The Coasters and hopefully we can keep our place at the top of the table!
