The Coasters face Bradford Park Avenue for the third time this month on Tuesday night in the F.A. Cup 2nd Qualifying Round as the two teams drew 2-2 at the Horsfall Stadium on Saturday to force a replay.

Fylde have been in fine form this season in the league and were hoping to transfer that excellent early season form into the cup competitions but they came unstuck against a resilient, tough Bradford Park Avenue side who matched up well to to The Coasters and forced a replay, which means that both sides will be in Monday’s draw for the 3rd Qualifying Round.

This will be the third meeting between the two sides this season in only the second month of games. The first of these games ended 2-1 to The Coasters at Kellamergh Park in the league in early September but from that match it was clear to see that BPA were tough opposition.

Fylde fared extremely well in cup competitions last season as they won the Doodson Cup & the LFA Cup as well as the Evo Stik Premier League play off final trophy, so an F.A. Cup run will certainly be high on the priority list and you could tell by the starting team on Saturday that boss Dave Challinor decided to go with.

Bradford Park Avenue haven’t lit the Conference North on fire as of yet and will want to show that they are a good side by going far in the F.A. Cup, so Tuesday night’s game should be a cracker.

Anything can happen in cup competition and the F.A. Cup is known for producing magic in many ways and we’re all hoping that we can create some magic to get to the next round of this famous cup competition.

Ticket prices for this game are £10 for adults, £7 concessions and free for under 16’s!

The match kicks off at 19:45 at Kellamergh Park so make sure you come down to support The Coasters and hopefully we can try an advance to the next round of the F.A. Cup and beyond!
