Second placed AFC Fylde travel to fifteenth placed Bradford Park Avenue on Monday evening, looking to get back to the top of the Conference North league table with an away victory.

The Coasters are just two points behind top of the table Barrow and a win for Fylde tomorrow night at the Horsfall Stadium would see The Coasters go back to the top of the Conference North table with Barrow playing on Tuesday night.

Last time out, The Coasters failed to take advantage of Barrow slipping up as Fylde drew 2-2 at home with Solihull Moors this past Saturday afternoon, Danny Rowe and Richie Allen scoring for Fylde. Omar Bogle scored a late penalty, which looked dubious, to reclaim a point for the visitors as it looked as if Fylde had taken all three.

Previously, The Coasters swept Colwyn Bay aside 6-2 at Kellamergh Park thanks to a brace from Danny Rowe and a four goal blitz from Richie Allen on Easter Monday. Fylde remain unbeaten since the third of March, winning two of their last fives games and drawing the other three.

These results mean that Fylde are now two points behind Barrow, and The Coasters will go top of the league with a win against fifteenth placed Bradford Park Avenue, albeit possibly for just twenty-four hours.

BPA have won four of their last eight games in the league and are eight points above the relegation zone with a couple of games in hand. A win for BPA would see them move up to fourteenth in the league table, if only for twenty-four hours.

On Easter Monday they beat Hyde 3-1 away from home, while this past Saturday saw Avenue draw 0-0 at home to Guiseley in a Yorkshire derby. With just pride left to play for this season, BPA will be in good spirits, and hopefully their pitch will hold up well resulting in an entertaining game.

This game was supposed to have been played on Saturday 4th April, but due to standing water on the pitch, it was postponed.

These two sides have already met three times this season, twice in FA Cup action and one in the league. The first meeting between the sides was a 2-1 home win for The Coasters in early September in the league and then back to back games followed at the end of September between these two sides in the FA Cup. First, a 2-2 draw at Horsfall Stadium and then the following Wednesday saw BPA travel to Kellamergh Park, only to lose 2-1 again to a strong Coasters side.
