AFC Fylde go into their Vanarama Conference North game at away to Brackley on the back of three successive victories in league and cup action and on a run of seven games unbeaten in all competitions.

It’s been a good December for The Coasters as wins against Stalybridge Celtic in the league and Gainsborough Trinity in the FA Trophy, both by the same score line, were added to on Tuesday night by a 3-1 home league win against Leamington thanks to goals from Danny Rowe, Danny Lloyd and Josh Langley.

The Coasters occupy second place in the Conference North table going into their game tomorrow away at Brackley, a team who The Coasters beat 4-0 at Kellamergh Park in the first game of the season. The Coasters have won 12 of their 19 games so far this season, losing three and drawing three whilst being on 40 points.

Brackley themselves sit 15th on 23 points from 20 games, winning six of their games so far this season. The Saints won their last league game last Saturday, beating Leamington 2-1 at home but since the start of November, Brackley have only won three games in all competitions.

Amazingly, six of the last seven games involving Brackley in all competitions have ended 2-1 to the home side, in which Brackley have been on the winning side twice, losing four times with a 1-1 draw away to Boston in the middle of all of those incredible previous seven results.

It is likely that The Coasters will keep a similar team from the past couple of games that has seen them win their previous three games in all competitions.

We’d like to see as many fans down at Brackley to cheer on The Coasters in their quest to return to the top of the Conference North league table!
