The Coasters are at home for the second time this week on Saturday as Gateshead FC visit Mill Farm in the National League North.

Jim Bentley’s men go into the game off the back of a superb midweek home victory over Spennymoor Town under the lights, which saw them bounce back from last Saturday’s defeat to Farsley Celtic.

As the games come thick and fast, the Coasters go into this weekend’s fixture against Gateshead, looking to extend their lead at the top of the table further.

The Heed travel to the Fylde Coast in good form themselves after winning their last three against Boston United, Gloucester City & Kidderminster Harriers, returning nine goals.

However, their last two scheduled league games have been postponed due to Covid-19 cases in both the Brackley and Curzon Ashton squads.

A mixture of senior experience and under-19s, though, featured in the Durham Challenge Cup on Wednesday night, which saw the Heed run out 6-0 winners against Silksworth CW.
