AFC Fylde were the final club confirmed in the National League North line-up for the 2016-17 season after missing out on promotion to North Ferriby United.

Promoted Darlington 1883 and Salford City join us from the Northern Premier League, whilst Altrincham, FC Halifax Town and Kidderminster Harriers are the three relegated from the National League to drop into our division.

Five clubs from this season have left the league – North Ferriby will now join champions Solihull Moors in the National League, whilst Lowestoft Town, Hednesford Town and Corby Town all suffered relegation.
