AFC Fylde have signed a kit sponsorship deal for the FA Cup which will see them be part of a Super Six tipped to pull off some shocks this weekend!

The partnership with 666 Bet will see the online bookmaker’s logo appear on the kits of a selection of sides from across the country and the non-league pyramid.

The other teams in the ‘666Bet Super Six’ are: Conference South duo Basingstoke Town and Weston-Super-Mare, Conference North side Gosport Borough, as well as East Thurrock United of the Ryman Isthmian Premier and Norton United of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One South.

Barry Martin, CEO of 666Bet.com, said: “From Premier League to non-league, 666Bet is proud to be involved in football across all levels of the sport.

“We’re big supporters of the amateur game and we hope the ‘666Bet Super Six’ can pull off a few shocks in The FA Cup first round.”

All agreements will continue for every round in which the teams remain in the competition and also include perimeter board advertising for the sides playing at home.

The teams will have the 666Bet logo on the front of their shirts apart from Basingstoke Town and Western-super-Mare, who will wear the logo on the back of shirt and shorts respectively.

It has betting partnerships with Premier League sides Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion, as well as sponsoring League One Leyton Orient’s shirt.

666Bet is also official betting partner of the SINGHA Beer Grand Slam of Darts, which will be held at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall from November 8-16, 2014, and the firm recently sponsored Newmarket’s Bunbury Cup and a number of high profile boxing fights.

In a further boost for AFC Fylde, the club have also agreed a deal to have sportswear provider Kitlocker on the back of the shirts for this weekend’s tie with Plymouth.

Director Tom Ward said: “We are delighted to have agreed this sponsorship deal with the club and we are backing them all the way to cause an upset this weekend.”

Kitlocker are a supplier for the FA and this summer provided them with 250,000 items for the World Cup and also have contracts with football clubs and Universities nationwide.

AFC Fylde have created a limited run of the special edition FA Cup shirts, which will be worn at Plymouth Argyle. They are being sold for £20.22, the price reflecting the year the ambitious club hopes to be playing in the Football League.

Commercial Manager Dave Riche said: “We are delighted to have the support of 666Bet and Kitlocker for our FA Cup journey.

“We hope that by attracting a major betting brand who have partnerships with Premier League clubs and sponsorship from a national retailer like Kitlocker that this shows the increase in the profile of AFC Fylde.”
