Coasters boss Jim Bentley has looked ahead to his sides visit to Solihull Moors this weekend, and assesed his squad’s performances so far.

It’s the new management team’s biggest test so far however, as Fylde head to a Solihull Moors side in good form.

“They’re a big strong physical side, but we’re looking forward to it – we’re in a good place at the minute,” said Bentley.

“We’ve had a good cup win last Saturday, we’re five unbeaten, and there have been plenty of positives that we want to continue to build on.”

“Since we’ve come in, it’s been a case of the side picking itself – perhaps a couple of little changes here and there.”

“We’ve been here two weeks now, and it was a great exercise in midweek to play Burnley U23’s – we lost the game unfortunately, but you can learn more in defeat.”
