Visiting supporters to be offered refunds, complimentary tickets and free travel for rearranged fixture.
AFC Fylde is offering Notts County supporters, who attended either of the two postponed fixtures, a full refund and a complimentary ticket to Tuesday night’s game.
As well as the free ticket, AFC Fylde will also fully fund two coaches for the Notts County supporters who wish to travel up on the night.
As a community-based club Fylde recognise that it’s the supporters who are most affected by late postponements, and as such we felt we needed to do something.
The Chairman, David Haythornthwaite, has been upset by what he considers unfair criticism of the club and wanted to do something personally to try and rectify the situation.
AFC Fylde Chief Executive, Jonty Castle, said: “We wholeheartedly accept that the supporters are not at fault for the match being postponed and we hope this offer is reflective of that. We look forward to welcoming everyone for the rearranged fixture on Tuesday, when we hope to finally get this game on.”
How do I claim my ticket refund?
Everyone who purchased tickets on the day or online will be refunded. For those that paid cash or card on the day, a lot have already been refunded, but those who haven’t will need to produce their original match ticket at the ticket office and claim their refund, or can ring our ticket office.
How do I claim my free ticket?
Everyone who has attended either of the two matches and paid for a ticket will need to produce the original match ticket or have proof of purchase and they will then be issued with a free ticket.
The club will be setting up a separate ticket processing area for this particular fixture. We would ask that all visiting supporters please arrive as early as they possibly can to allow us to facilitate this.
How do I claim free coach travel?
Notts County have kindly agreed to administrate this process as follows:
One of the buses will be operated by Notts County, with 30 seats reserved for those who used official coach travel for last week’s postponed match.
The reserved seats will be held until 4pm on Saturday, while all remaining places are available now on a first come, first served basis. To book your seat on this club-run bus, call 0115 955 7210 or visit the ticket office/club shop.
The second bus will be independently run by Steve ‘Acko’ Atkinson. If you’d like to book a seat with him, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Club: 2.45pm outside the club shop
‘Acko’: 2.30pm outside the Trent Navigation
How do I contact the AFC Fylde ticket office?
The AFC Fylde Ticket Office helpline, which is 01772 598855, will be open from 9am on Monday 2nd March, for anyone with any queries.
