AFC Fylde is delighted to announce that Ethan Walker has returned to the Club on loan until January 2nd, 2022, with the midfielder available for the Chorley clash after the New Year.

Ethan returns to the Mill Farm from Preston North End after a previous one-month loan spell back in October, where his last appearance in a Coasters shirt came against Gloucester City.

During that spell, Walker grabbed a late goal for the Coasters away at Alfreton Town, with a well-driven strike from just inside the area to earn Jim Bentley’s side a point on the road after finding themselves behind after 56 minutes.

Walker comes back to the Fylde Coast full of confidence after helping Preston North End reserves to a 3-2 win over Fleetwood Town in the Central League Cup on Tuesday afternoon, where he scored the opener and a 95th-minute winner at Euxton.

On Ethan’s arrival back at Mill Farm, Coasters boss Jim Bentley said: “Ethan did well in his last loan move with us and was showing signs of getting even better.

“He scored a good goal away at Alfreton, was training really well, and we were looking to extend his loan before he, unfortunately, got injured. He returned to Preston, got himself back fit, and we are really pleased that he has resigned for us on loan.”

Ethan will wear shirt number 20 during his time at Mill Farm.
