AFC Fylde Community Foundation have named Dan Cookson as the new manager of the highly successful ‘Early Years Foundation Stages’ (EYFS) programme.

After working with the Foundation in local schools and nurseries for over a year, Dan will now officially take up the pivotal role of lead.

The Foundation is responsible for more than 70 nursery sessions alone across the Fylde Coast as well as further afield. Dan and his team will be delivering an extensive range of activities including football, multi-skills, dance, physical education and fundamental movements ensuring children of all ages and abilities get the most out of their sessions and leave with a smile on their face!

Dan will now be responsible for maintaining all the current partnerships with nurseries as well as forging ahead to develop new collaborations, making sure the Foundation’s offer continues to be unparalleled across the Fylde.

Dan couldn’t be happier with his new role: “I’m really pleased to be overseeing the Early Years Foundations Stages programme for the Foundation.

“We take great pride in delivering such an impressive range of sessions throughout the community and we don’t plan on stopping the momentum now. In my new role, I will be establishing partnerships with more nurseries so as many youngsters as possible can take advantage of the fantastic sessions we are able to offer. But it will remain my priority to ensure all the nurseries we currently work with continue to be happy with the service we are providing.”
