The AFC Fylde Community Foundation supported and hosted the prestigious Hogan Cup final at Mill Farm over the weekend.

The Hogan Cup is a football tournament played and run in association the Blackpool and District Youth Football League. Local grassroots teams compete throughout the season in a knockout competition with the end prize of playing the finals at here at Mill Farm.

The grassroots teams aged between 12 and 18 years old experienced life as a professional playing on the big stage, walking through the tunnel, team talks in the dressing rooms and being cheered on by the crowds!

The day was a great success and everybody involved enjoyed an unforgettable experience that will inspire them to pursue their football careers.

U16 Plate – FC Rangers 0 – 6 Poulton FC

U18 – Fleetwood Town Rangers 1 – 0 Foxhall JFC

U16- Lytham Juniors FC 2 – 1 Foxhall JFC

U13 Plate – Thornton Whites 4 – 3 Kirkham Blues

U13 – Squires Gate FC 2 – 3 B.J.F.F. Blades

Foundation Director Tom Hutton was understandably proud that the Foundation and AFC Fylde were able to host the event.
