AFC Fylde have pulled off a major transfer coup with the signing of Harrogate Town star Brendon Daniels.

The former Crewe Alexandra winger becomes the second signing of the summer and joins the Coasters on a three-year deal.

Daniels finished last season as Player of the Year at Harrogate after netting 22 league goals as Town finished fourth in the National League North.

The 22-year-old admitted he was ‘buzzing’ as he signed his contract and said: “I can’t wait to get started at AFC Fylde. I would like to thank the chairman and the manager for showing great faith in me. The vision of the club and where they want to be is very impressive and now I can’t wait to get started and help them achieve their goals.”

Full interview with Brendon tomorrow.
