AFC Fylde is delighted to announce that goalkeeper Chris Neal has signed a new one-year deal with the Club ahead of the 2022/23 National League North campaign.
Neal signs an extension with the Club following an impressive season in the Coasters goal, despite enduring an extremely difficult period away from football.
During his time at Mill Farm so far, Neal has racked up 46 appearances, adding to the hundreds he has picked up over the years across the Football League.
After putting pen to paper on his new deal, Neal expressed: “I’m delighted to renew my contract for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
“Unfortunately, we fell short of where we wanted to be at the end of this season, but we go away and reflect on what happened and look to use it as fuel to come back stronger next season.
“I’ve enjoyed working under the gaffer, and I’ve got a good relationship with him. He wants success at this Club and ultimately promotion, which is what we all want this time next year.”
