AFC Fylde are pleased to announce that striker Danny Rowe has signed for the club today.

Manager Dave Challinor was delighted with landing this latest acquisition saying “It seems pretty last minute in terms of getting him signed and registered but it’s a deal that has been in the offing for quite a few weeks now.”

Danny has appeared for The Coasters four times during pre-season and did have offers from other clubs but has decided to remain local to where he lives.

Challinor added: “Danny has lots of Conference Premier experience but most importantly lots of ability.  It’s a great fit for both parties in the fact that Danny was looking for something more local and we were looking to bring in an extra forward.

“I really think we can get the best out of Danny to allow him to showcase the talent he has.  He knows lots of the lads anyway but has integrated well during pre season whilst training and playing games and I know he can’t wait to get started.”

Danny should come straight into the squad for tomorrow’s game against Brackley where everyone is hoping for a positive start to the new campaign.
