The start of the new season is almost upon us and with it comes The Coasters’ final pre-season friendly at Kellamergh Park on Tuesday evening.

Bolton Wanderers’ Development Squad are the visitors for what will be another interesting encounter as Dave Challinor looks to start fine-tuning his tactics and potential line-ups as we draw closer to that first game of the season.

After Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Curzon Ashton, Challinor will also be looking to see his side produce a better performance than was shown at Tameside against what will be decent opposition.

Karl Noon scored Fylde’s goal at the weekend in the final minute of the game where Challinor played three triallists and used all seven of his substitutes and he will no doubt do the same again on Tuesday night to give lads game time ahead of the big kick off.

Bolton’s pre-season has seen them tour the North West playing games against Bamber Bridge, Hyde and Chorley as well as a game against Australian side Melbourne Heart at the County Ground in Leyland last week.  After travelling to KP they face Wrexham in their final warm up game before they kick off their U21 Premier League campaign.

Admission is just £6 for adults and £4 for concessions so please come along and show your support with kick off at 7:45pm.
