OVER the past 24 hours, AFC Fylde has found itself firmly in the limelight and we would like to thank all the media for their support of our young manager initiative.

What started out on our club website as an opportunity for a young supporter to step into the shoes of manager Dave Challinor, has gained a global following thanks to a range of outlets.

LEARNING: the management team.

Local media were among the first to cover the story with press, radio and television all interviewing Daniel Fryer as he managed the team against Bolton Wanderers.  But over the past few hours the story has gained national recognition through BBC Sport and Radio Five Live and not forgetting, our fans who have helped to share our story.

To then be featured across the globe via the internet and social media, has been superb and as a club we are keen to promote our true community values.
