AFC Fylde is thrilled to announce that Head Coach Adam Murray has won the Vanarama National League North January Manager of the Month. 

Since being appointed as Head Coach in November 2022, Murray has won 10 of his 13 league games in charge, taking the side from outside the playoffs and ten points off first place to sitting top of the pile and still unbeaten in 2023. 

In January, the Coasters picked up five wins and one draw in total, starting with a 1-0 victory away to local rivals Chorley on New Year’s Day.

Following the derby day win at Victory Park, Murray’s men saw off Banbury United, Southport, Buxton and Scarborough Athletic before ending the month with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Chester FC at Mill Farm. 

With a hectic February remaining for the Coasters, no side in the National League North has scored more points than Fylde since Murray was appointed.
