AFC Fylde boss Dave Challinor believes taking a fully fit squad into next week’s Play-Off semi-final is key.
Challinor admits he may rest a few of his stars for the trip to Worcester City tomorrow as the Coasters look to end the season on the high.
“If someone had guaranteed us a play-off place at the beginning of the season then I would definitely have taken that,” said Challinor. “After going so close last year it would have been great to win the league but we have been a little bit up and down and Solihull are deserved champions. However, our aim of promotion is the same and we still have the opportunity to do that.
“We could be in a situation like Boston or Harrogate who could still potentially drop out or like Nuneaton who need a result for a chance to break in. We are in already and that’s a big thing for us.
“We absolutely want to win the game tomorrow, but at the same time we want a fully fit squad going in to the first play-off game on Wednesday.
“We have options to change personnel but a lot of that will depend on where the injured lads are up to.
“We want to finish the season strongly and enjoy the game tomorrow, but we will go in to the play-off games in good spirits regardless of what happens.”
