The AFC Fylde Community Foundation is the Fylde Coast’s premier physical activity and community engagement charity, engaging with over 4,000 residents in the area. Given the continued and ever successful growth, the Foundation is looking to appoint a number of senior Community Development Coaches to join the ever expanding team.

Post holders must have a minimum of a National Governing Body Level 2 qualification in a specific sport and additional National Governing Body level 1 qualifications are desirable. The candidate must also have extensive experience in delivering a range of primary school sports and activity programmes, based both in primary school settings, and in the community itself.

The Foundation is looking to appoint a number of driven, committed and enthusiastic coaches, who will have the ability to act independently and confidently deliver a wide and diverse range of sports to children and young people between the ages of 4 and 18.

Experience in delivering within a primary school environment is essential and ongoing support, training and development will be offered throughout the employment period.

Applicants must also have access to a car. Full business expenses will be paid. The Foundation is committed to supporting its staff and will provide a continually satisfying role with excellent job prospects.

Senior Community Sports Development Coach

Hours – Range of flexible employment contracts available between 0-25 hours per week

Rate of pay – £10.00 per hour, plus expenses.
