Following a whirlwind week at the club, culminating in the appointment of Jim Bentley, the club want to place on record their thanks to John Hills and Brett Ormerod for stepping into help at a critical time.

The duo took charge of the Peterborough Sports FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round win, as well as the 2-0 win away at Boreham Wood, before Jim Bentley’s appointment last Monday.

“I am very grateful for John and Brett’s help while we were finding a replacement for Dave Challinor,” said club Chairman David Haythornthwaite.

“They were professional from the get go and managed the side to two critical wins out of two, and leave with a 100% record.”

“They leave with our thanks for a job well done.”
