Facilities

Over the last 18 months AFC Fylde's commitment to improving facilities at Kellamergh Park in line with the FA Ground Grading Criteria has seen a number of improvements. Kellamergh Park is set in a rural location in Warton, close to BAe Systems after the club was forced to look for a new home in 2006. The land has been developed into a tidy non league ground with all amenities on site and is an ever developing project. Longer term the club has plans to move to a new multi sports complex with a new ground and sporting facilities for the whole community called Greenlands Sports Village.

COVERED SEATING
The all seater main stand holds 282 spectators including press and home and away directors. This was enhanced in February 2009 with the introduction of additional seating.

COVERED STANDING
In March 2010 the club added a new covered terrace area behind the goals with cover for 100 spectators. The 'Warton End' as it is known will be an ideal vantage point for supporters who prefer to stand on matchdays.

CLUB CAR PARK
The newly laid car park in summer of 2008 has given the club ample parking for  approx 150 cars on Match Days.

CLUBHOUSE
The new 'FULLERS BAR' was opened in March 2010 for supporters to enjoy a pre and post match pint on matchdays. Post match both sets of teams join supporters to re-live the days events. The bar has 3 widescreen TV's to keep up to date with all the latest action with Sky Sports News. In summer 2011 the rear of Fullers Bar will be fully paved with outdoor area and tables and chairs in readiness for the 2011-2012 season.

SPONSORS BOX
This facility was opened in March 2009 and is now an exclusive facility for Club Sponsors, Matchday Sponsors and VIP guests to enjoy a pre match buffet meal and watch the game from the glass fronted box. An exclusive pay bar facility with 2 large screens for keeping up to date with the days football results.

DIRECTORS BOX
The facility was opened in March 2009 and caters for up to 24 Directors complete with Kitchen and dining area and Widescreen TV's. Visiting Directors and officials are provided with the very best AFC Fylde Hospitality with hostess service.

TRAINING FACILITIES

During the close season in 2010 the club developed new full size grass training pitch with new drainage system for the 1st team to train on complete with floodlights. The club will also use this for community coaching, saturday clubs and kids parties on matchdays.Further improvements will be made to this facility in the summer of 2011.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENT

The club has plans to site a New club shop and erect external ground signage after planning permission was received recently on the main road adjacent to the Birley Arms. The club is also looking at increasing the hardstanding area at the Far end of the ground to increase capacity from 1800 to over 2500.  Externally Fullers Bar will be paved to allow for tables and chairs outside.

Longer term the Haythornthwaite Sports Foundation a sporting charity has recently submitted exciting plans for a new sports village Greenlands Sports Village which is 3 miles away from Kellamergh Park close to the A583.
