Kelham O'Hanlon was impressed with his players performance against the Shaymen in the 2-2 draw yesterday.
Fylde 2-1 down in the last minute grabbed the all important equaliser from Joe Booth's free kick to give the Coasters a share of the points.
" We were down to the bare bones with more young lads on the bench due to injuries and illlness so credit to the young lads that came in in front of a big crowd. We thouroughly deserved the point against what I consider to be the strongest team in the league by far. We had a good first half and caused them a few problems but they had a go at us in the second half to get in front and were strong but Boothy's fantastic free kick won us a share of the points, the moment it left his foot it was unstoppable." Said O'Hanlon.
Fylde travel to Clitheroe this Tuesday in a re-arranged league clash.
