AFC Fylde grabbed a deserved point in a well contested game at Kellamergh Park.
FC Halifax with 500 travelling fans amongst the 741 crowd were denied the points in the final minute of the game with another speculative Joe Booth free kick in the final minute of the game. Michael Barnes gace Fylde the lead on 27 minutes after Jason Dodwells challenge on a defender broke for the winger and he smashed the ball home. It remained 1-0 at the break with Fylde have the better of the first half with Penswick, Dodwell and Kay going close to adding to their tally. The visitors came out for the second period looking to get themselves back in the game and loanee striker Michael Wilde from Blue Suare North neighbours Fleetwood Town grabbed the equaliser on 55 minutes, They maintained their pressure on Fylde and added a quickfire second 5 minutes later when Nicky Gray smashed home from close range to give them the lead. Fylde weren't fazed by the promotion chasing Shaymen and Booth's equaliser gave them a share of the points.
