Kelham O'Hanlon reacts to the 1-0 defeat to Unibond South side Stamford ...

After the game O'Hanlon stated "  I was very dissapointed as it was a game we could and should have won. You don't often get many chances to get to a cup final in your career and this was a great opportunity for the lads and we missed taking that chance today."

Official Mr Dexter from Leicestershire booked 4 Fylde players and sent off Kilbane, Fylde lead the fair play league all season something O'Hanlon was keen to point out. "There was some contencious decisions made by the referee throughout the game, anyone who was at the game will remember the referee's performance on the day over and above anything else. The sending off of Farrell is a big blow for potentially 3 games. But I'm not making any excuses for our performance on the day - we weren't up to standard and this game is a learning experience for some of these players."

Finally O'Hanlon praised the away following which must have been around 50 travelling fans to the game. " We had a great following down there so I'm sorry for them too". Thanks to those supporters who made the long trip.

Stamford will now face Belper in the final whilst Fylde must look to bounce back in league action on Tuesday away at Garforth.
