Result - Bamber Bridge 2 AFC Fylde 4 (06/03/10)
AFC Fylde pulled off a fabulous win at the QED Stadium against local rivals Bamber Bridge with a 4-2 win. .

Chris Marlow gave the home side the lead when he swept home in the box on 7 minutes to give the home side the opener. Fylde full back Ryan Elderton equalised from an acute angle after a clever one two with skipper Joe Booth in the box in a first half that petered off as the half time whistle came. It wasn't a classic opening 45 minutes with litte to entertain the 259 crowd.

After the break the goals kept coming. Brigs Chris Brown finished from outside the box from a poor Fylde clearance to put the home side back in front only for Fylde winger Jason Dodwell's deep cross to loop over Brig keeper Hinchcliffe to draw the scores level at 2-2. Matt Walwyn came on as sub replacing Matt Mahoney and tapped home a third after Michael Barnes sprinted almost 60 yards and unselfishly teed up the striker for his 16th goal of the season  for the goal of the game. In the final minute Mark Wane was then fouled in the box and Joe Booth stepped up and converted his spot kick to make it 4-2 and a memorable 'derby' result in our first competitive game at Brig thats puts Fylde in the top ten
