AFC Fylde were held to a draw against an in form Radcliffe Borough at Stainton Park on Tuesday night.
Fylde started well and a well worked goal from Danny Penswick gave them a 1-0 lead just 13 minutes in. Radcliffe came back into the game in the latter stages of the first half and equalised through Adam Roscoe on 43 minutes. In a second half played at a high tempo from both sides it was Fylde who could and should have won the game. In a 10 minute spell midway throught the second half Fylde had the best opportunities to take maximum points. Michael Barnes was denied from close range with a header then Wane, Penswick and Booth all had efforts cleared off the line in an amazing 30 second spell that should have seen Fylde grab an away win. It was another impressive away performance from Fylde on their travels.
